Super Soccer Skills

This video is unique in that it is designed so a player can watch it at home on the television while practicing the footwork and moves in a small square (about 3 steps wide) outlined by 4 socks. (Don't worry, it is safe to do this in the house). Slow motion and stop action are used so the viewer can clearly follow along. The Moves are also shown on the soccer field at "game speed" against a defender. Each footwork move is clearly shown in close-ups from different angles, with young players (about age 8 or 9) learning as he or she is taught by the "coach". It is just like you are there. At the end of each section, there is a "challenge timed race" that allows the viewer to practice the moves against the clock. This is good because it simulates "pressure".

Very fun and positive. Excellent quality and very clear narration. This is a great way for beginning coaches to learn how to teach basic footwork, such as use of the inside and outside of the foot, and a pullback, and soccer moves. For typical players and Recreational coaches, this video is much better than the Coerver tapes. Dan Metcalfe is an outstanding instructor and the quality of this video makes it an exceptional value. This is the best video we've seen for teaching footwork and soccer moves to young players, and we've watched over 150 soccer coaching tapes and DVD's. It is like having your own personal coach or trainer.
