Tryout Steps for Players & Parents
- Check-in at the registration booth.
- Confirm your contact information.
- If you pre-registered, you’ll receive a numbered jersey — record that number on the registration form.
- Get a colored armband indicating your city. This helps coaches understand where players are from.
- Red – Cedar Hills / Highland / Alpine
- Blue – American Fork / Pleasant Grove
- Orange – East Lehi / Traverse (East of I-15)
- Green – West Lehi / Eagle Mountain / Saratoga Springs
- If you did NOT pre-register:
- Attend the tryouts, but you must register online by 10:00 PM tonight at www.nucsonline.com.
- Make sure we have your jersey number and color recorded.
- Parents must attend the tryout parent meeting, which will happen before or during tryouts.
- Coaching Shortage Alert:
We often have more players than coaches. If you're open to coaching, please let us know. We offer strong support and resources for new coaches. - Tryout Format:
After the meeting, players will participate in skill stations or small-sided games, depending on attendance and trainer preferences. - Drills and games are run by trainers so that coach's can observe.
- When players are finished, return the numbered jersey to the registration desk.
- Coaches will meet after tryouts and select players in a draft format.
- You will be notified by Sunday if your child is placed on a team. If not, please register for the Challenger League.
- If your child isn’t placed by Sunday, we will continue to try finding them a team during the summer. Challenger fees will be credited toward AA if placement occurs.
- Follow-up required:
If you are not contacted by Sunday night, please email:
