This updated format more closely aligns players with their school grade and classmates.
Important Notes About the New Age Group System
- Players born between August 1 and December 31 will generally remain in the same age group they previously played in.
- Players born between January 1 and July 31 will generally move up one age group compared to the old system.
- Players may still “play up” on older teams when approved by the coach and club/league policies. In most cases, players may not “play down.”
- Team administrators are responsible for verifying that players are registered in the correct age group before offering roster spots.
