Some key points when conducting a practice:
NO LINES - Try to avoid lines. A player in line learns nothing. If an exercise has lines try to have it running on two places on the field to get lines shorter. NO LAPS - Yes your jr. high football coach was like mine and made us run laps. Give the players exercise's where they are running AND playing soccer. NO LECTURES - Give guidance, but let the game be the teacher. Give kids the opportunity to make decisions and find solutions. When you make comments make them short and sweet. Remember, often the same lesson can be taught to a U4 teams or the US National team. It just depends on the complexity level added by the coach.
